Rossin Bertin Vorax 01 The Vorax: Brazilian Supercar With BMW Sourced V10

Believe it or not, this isn’t the first Brazilian supercar we’ve seen recently. That would be this one. But since supercars from unassuming places are a niche we like to cover, the Rossin-Bertin Vorax is our supercar of the day.

The car will become official at the Sao Paulo Auto Show later this month. It features a tuned version of the BMW M5’s 5.0-liter V10 engine sitting inside a carbon fiber body and aluminum chassis. It weighs just 2,866 lbs. It will be offered in several different power levels, topping out at a 750-hp supercharged version that rolls to 62 mph in 3.6 seconds.

We’ll reserve our opinions until we see the real deal, but so far, a few nice lines contrast with some pretty-horrible looking elements for a decidedly uninspired “meh.” The expected cost of $400K doesn’t help any. [via Carscoop]
