Jaguar Considering Production on the C-X75 Plug-In Supercar

Oct 07, 2021 - By Chris Weiss

According to Autocar, Jaguar plans a production feasibility evaluation of the C-X75 supercar that it stole Paris with. The company is considering two individual plans: one to produce 1,000 models and another to produce 2,000 models. The report indicates that there is plenty of time for Jaguar to make up its mind: production is said to be at least five to seven years out due largely to the rough, experimental nature of the gas turbines that are integral to its hybrid powertrain. Those turbines still need to be refined and proven for automotive use.

I’m pretty sure that we’re not the only ones rooting passionately for the C-X75. [via Autocar]
