Any tune that’s called a VelociRaptor is bound to be impressive and the new Hennessy Ford F150 SVT VelociRaptor 500 does not disappoint. Hennessy adds nearly 200 horses to the 5.8-liter V8 with the addition of a Whipple supercharger-boosting performance out to the namesake 500 hp and 520 lb-ft of torque. Hennessy also adds a K&N air filter, upgraded fuel injectors, stainless steel headers and stainless steel exhaust while retuning the ECU.
The result? That burly frame will now make the jaunt to 60 in just 5.4 seconds. That’s a pretty nice upgrade over the stock 8.4-second mark.
Hennessy intends to sell 100 of the packages annually at $10,950 (package only) or $14,995 with installation. [via Inside Line]
