Hailing from down under, the Electric Voltra is a tight, sleek design that gives an indication of what electric drivetrains will offer to the world of motorcycle design. Pulling out all that bulky engine equipment and leaving a clean, simple frame, design student Dan Anderson has crafted a bike that exudes power even in its absence. We’re especially fond of the suspended seat and chrome, exhaust pipe inspired headlights. While true motorcycle fanatics will be slow to welcome the age of electrics, designs like this should help grease the wheels. [via Gizmag]
