Dodge Drops The 2011 Charger

Oct 05, 2021 - By Chris Weiss

The Paris Motor Show is still going on, but today’s big auto news comes from the good, ol’ US of A. Dodge has introduced the 2011 Charger, and Dodge’s four-door muscle car is updated with new styling and engine options.

The 2011 Charger looks a tad angrier thanks to a new pair of headlights. Its overall design was inspired by the second-generation Charger of the late-60s, and other exterior changes include a new grille and front bumper, raked windshield and fully-redesigned, retro-inspired, LED-based taillights and rear end.

Under the hood, the 2011 Charger will get 3.6-liter V6 Pentastar and 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engine options. The car will come in rear-wheel drive and have an all-wheel drive option.

Dodge didn’t release interior photos or performance specifications yet, but has said the Charger will feature premium materials inside. The 2011 Charger will hit the market later this year. [via Carscoop]

Please call this boat anything but a Charger. Don't even mention the style to be any where near the '68-70.
